What's included in VIP?

2016 will see our ever popular and totally cool, funky 80s themed VIP enclosure. Sit back and relax in the comfy chill out zone or enjoy the outdoor seating area. The VIP enclosure includes its own bar selling a range of quality brands and 80s cocktails, plus of course the all-important VIP luxury loos – essential at any festival!

Also included is a souvenir programme, meal and welcome drink.

Fancy dress is recommended (but not compulsory!).

Family tickets

A family ticket covers 2 adults and 2 children between the ages of 3 and 12 inclusive. All of the family must arrive at the festival together.

Posh toilet tickets

Posh toilet tickets allow you to access our Posh Toilets – regularly serviced with attendants! Please note that these toilets are in a separate enclosure so one ticket will be required per person. Under 3’s are permitted with their accompanying guardian.

Will I be able to come and go during the day?

You will be issued with a wristband which allows you to leave and re-enter the festival site.

What time does the event start/finish?

Clock_smallThe gates open at 11.00AM and we recommend that you arrive early, so that you don’t miss any of the action!

The Festival starts at midday and finishes at 10:30PM.

Car parking is available at Sandwell Park Farm on the day of the event. Prices will be £5.00 per car payable on entry into the showground (please ensure you have your change ready).

What food is available?

You can bring your own picnic into the main arena but we have a wide variety of catering on offer, including a large BBQ, Indian, Mexican and Chinese. Unfortunately, we can not allow alcohol to be brought in to, or out of the arena (a range of premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be on sale from our bars).

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Due to licensing restrictions, you are not permitted to bring alcohol into the arena. There is a wide range of premium alcoholic (and non-alcoholic) drinks available for purchase from our bars.

Can I bring soft drinks/water with me?

You are allowed to bring soft drinks/water with you (of not more than 500ml), as long as these are unopened/sealed when you arrive. Anything considered open will be confiscated on the gate. Camel packs (or similar) are not permitted.

What items can I NOT bring with me?

As well as alcohol, no glass or sharp objects (including picnic cutlery) are permitted to be brought into the event and all guests will be subject to a brief search on entry as part of our security policy

Can I bring a barbecue?

Due to safety concerns, barbecues of any type are prohibited anywhere on the festival site, including the campsite.

Are dogs allowed?

Dogs are not permitted anywhere on the festival site, except for guide dogs.

Can I bring my own picnic table/chairs?

You can bring your own tables and chairs into the main arena but security may ask you to move them to the perimeter of the arena if they are causing any obstruction. Chairs and picnic tables are not allowed in the area between the sound desk and the front of the stage.

Can I bring a gazeebo/small tent?

Small tents (up to a height of 1m) are permitted into the main arena, however, security may ask you to move them to the perimiter of the arena if they are causing any obstruction. Gazeebo’s and larger tents are not permitted on site.


Please note that all tickets to this event are non-refundable and non-transferable. Due to operational issues beyond our control, some services may not always be available. In this unlikely situation, we are unable to offer refunds.

Conditions of Entry

UK Live (Let’s Rock and PennFest) Entry Terms & Conditions


1. All entry terms and conditions are to be read together with all other statements and or directives either shown on the ticket or displayed at the Festival.

2. In the event of a breach of these conditions by the supplier, the supplier shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense arising out of the breach which was not reasonably foreseeable by the supplier at the date of this contract.

3. The promoter reserves the right to refuse admission to the holder if in the reasonable opinion of the promoter or their agents or representative’s that admission of the holder might be a risk to the safety of the audience and/or the holder and/or affect the enjoyment of the audience and/or the running of the festival. All persons entering the festival site may be searched as a condition of entry. Strictly no illegal substances or “legal highs” will be permitted into the site. Possession of either will lead to your ejection from the festival and possible prosecution.

4. Camping is permitted only in the official campsites (Lets Rock Bristol, Lets Rock Exeter and PennFest) with a Weekend Camping ticket. Do not camp within the fire lanes marked with white lines on the ground or low crowd barrier. Your tent will be removed if you do so. No sleeping in vehicles is permitted in any car park at any event.

5. You enter the campsite, festival site and car parks at your own risk. The organisers, and their agents and contractors, shall not be held liable for any loss, damage or injury of any kind.

6. We strongly advise that for your own safety you do not camp or park in unofficial campsites or car parks outside the official event sites.

7. Camper vans, caravans and trailer tents only are permitted into the camper van area. A maximum of 4 persons is permitted per pitch and all must have a valid weekend camping ticket. Camper van tickets must be purchased in advance (Lets Rock Bristol, Lets Rock Exeter and PennFest ONLY).

8. No duplicates will be issued for lost or damaged tickets – treat them like cash.

9. Weekend camping ticket holders must exchange their ticket for a wristband on arrival and this must be worn at all times for the duration of the event.

10. No alcohol is permitted to be taken into the arena and the only containers permitted shall carry non-alcoholic liquid in collapsible plastic or similar material containers of not more than 500ml. Any containers with broken seals will not be permitted.

11. Private sound systems, illegal substances, glass, fireworks or any other items which the organisers deem unsuitable or inappropriate will not be permitted into the festival site.

12. Please respect the site and use the bins provided, fires are not permitted in any area and will be extinguished and you will leave yourself liable for ejection.

13. If you have any disabled access requirements please see our website for full information. Access to facilities is subject to availability and not guaranteed. Anyone turning up on the day without making prior arrangements may not be able to access our facilities if they are full to capacity.

14. Persons lost in the arena should meet at the Welfare / Information tent.

15. No animals will be admitted to the site other than assistance dogs for the disabled.

16. If you look under 25 please do not be offended if we ask you for proof of age when you buy alcohol. Please bring ID. UK Live operates the ‘Challenge 25’ policy.

17. Official merchandise is only on sale inside the festival site; please do not purchase goods from unofficial vendors.

18. Strictly no trading is allowed inside the festival site without written permission from UK Live Limited.

19. No audio or video recorders, professional photographic equipment or laser pens will be permitted in to the arena.

20. Whilst every effort is made to ensure the full, advertised bill performs, this ticket is for an event and not a specific artiste/band. Please note that the line-up is subject to change, without prior notice, if circumstances beyond our control dictate this.

21. In the event of cancellation of the festival by UK Live Limited, their responsibility for refund is limited to the face value of the ticket only.

22. Under no circumstances will duplicate tickets be issued for lost or damaged tickets, keep your ticket safe.

23. Attendees consent to the photography, filming/sound recording as members of the audience, which may be used for promotional or commercial activities.

24. Your tickets are security printed; please keep it dry and in good condition, or entry may be refused.

25. Resale of this ticket is prohibited without the express permission of UK Live Limited. You may not re-sell or transfer this ticket if you are selling or transferring the ticket in the course of business. You are deemed to be selling or transferring in the course of business where we reasonably believe you to be doing so.

26. No tickets may be used for competitions or promotions without the written permission from UK Live Limited.

27. It is against the law to smoke in enclosed spaces, please observe the signage around the festival site.

28. The organisers reserve the right to implement any restrictions or conditions deemed necessary before and during the event to ensure the safe management of the festival site.

29. Amplified sound and strobe lighting will be used at this event.

30. The promoters reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of entry into UK Live events in accordance with any new laws, legislation or internal company policies.



Drugs Policy

Let’s Rock Birmingham and UK Live has a zero tolerance policy on the use of, or the dealing in, illegal drugs on site, including legal highs. Drug enforcement laws are applicable on this site and SIA security is on site to deal with drug offences in accordance with national guidelines. If you deal in drugs, you will be arrested. Neither anti-social nor illegal behaviour shall be tolerated and participants shall leave themselves liable for evictions from the site and possible prosecution.

Experimenting with drugs can lead to adverse reaction. If you do take drugs and you become ill, depressed or frightened, please ask a steward to direct you to our on-site welfare centre which can help and support you.

You will be searched at the entrance. Any items which the organisers consider may be used in an illegal or offensive manner will be confiscated.

Complaints Procedure

If the rare instance that you wish you make a complaint about any of our events, please email us within 7 days of the event using the contact form on this website. We will endeavour to respond to you as soon as possible, although during the busy festival season there may be some delay. We will be unable to respond to any complaints after this 7 day period.

Local residents noise concerns hotline

For any local residents who have concerns over noise levels, please call 07391 538604. This number should not be used for any other purposes.

What facilities are there for disabled guests?

Let’s Rock Birmingham! welcomes disabled festival goers and takes all reasonable measures to assist with their attendance and enjoyment of the event. At the same time, the festival takes place in the open countryside and disabled guests should be aware that the main arena, car park and surrounding areas are, naturally, fairly uneven and may be difficult to navigate.  Let’s Rock Birmingham! stewards will be available, subject to peak movements, to assist disabled guests in getting in to the main arena.

The main car park is immediately adjacent to the arena entrance and parking stewards will ensure that any registered disabled guests are directed to the disabled parking area, which is very close to the main arena entrance.

Disabled toilets are provided on site.

There is no covered viewing platform at Lets Rock Birmingham!, but there is a small area reserved for disabled guests. However, if disabled guests find that there are specific problems resulting from their disability, please contact one of the stewards who will be happy to do everything possible to help you.

How do I apply for a personal assistant ticket?

In our efforts to make Let’s Rock Birmingham! accessible to everyone, we offer disabled ticket holders, subject to availability, a free ticket for a personal assistant.  This offer is open to those who hold a current higher rate of DLA, or other UK government approved supporting evidence of their requirement for a personal assistant. Carer tickets can only be issued against general entry tickets.

IMPORTANT: This offer is only available to those people that would be unable to attend the festival without a full time assistant.  Every application is looked at on an individual basis and if anyone is found to be making a fraudulent application, we reserve the right to cancel both the original ticket and personal assistant ticket, before and during the event.

To apply for a personal assistant ticket, please follow the procedure below:
–  Buy a standard general admission ticket (must be online)
–  Email us proof of purchase (the email from Gigantic) AND a copy of your letter of award for DLA (or equivalent)
